Our Keta roe is cured into ikura using a salt-only brine, then lightly smoked with hardwood, before putting into our 3.75 oz jars and flash frozen. Once thawed, this smoked ikura has a shelf life of 7 days in the refrigerator, but we are confident it will not last the day once you taste it. Just a few eggs transform a green salad, or a winter soup. Traditional crackers, cream cheese, and smoked ikura will ensure open arms at any party.
